Steph is a Korean American illustrator and storyboard artist from Queens, New York City.
Her work pulls from a blend of unique cultural experiences and personal narratives, that is occasionally laced with a humorous or supernatural edge. Exploring themes of cultural heritage and the complexities of the human experience mixed with fantastical elements, Steph hopes to instill in viewers a palpable relatable reaction or nostalgia from her work.
Drawing influence from illustrators like Tomer Hanuka and writers like Haruki Murakami, Stephanie's work explores the intersection of human emotions, identity, and the extraordinary elements of everyday life. Her illustrations capture the subtle nuances of human expression and delve into the realms of imagination and introspection by blending fantasy with the normal mundane.
